Hey y'all,

I was recently given a 914 sitting on a buddy of mines property. It has been out in elements for several years but living in South Texas it may be salvageable. So other than obvious issues what should I look for? I do have a background in muscle cars, and street rod builds.

Go onto YouTube and watch Ian karr and George (Dr 914 auto Atlanta's) videos. Very helpful. George looks more at a "nice looking" type. Ian might be more along what you will be dealing with. Longitudinals, hell hole under the battery tray, and pretty much anything made out of steal or rubber or plastic. So pretty much the entire car.

Post some pics. What year? Can you find/do you know the VIN?
