What's the biggest size wheel and tire you can put on a stock 73 2.0 914? I would like to fit a set of 15 x 7 cookie cutters if possible.

I know this is frequently discussed. (about every 2 weeks)
there is a difference of opinions.
some say it is possible others not.

pretty much it is agreed that a 6 inch wheel with a 195 or possibly 205 is a safe bet.

a 7inch wheel requires fender stretching or rolling, and sometimes fender painting after the rolling is done.

there are exceptions to this rule but the majority would say 6inches.

the 7 inch cookie is not your friend in this endevor.
its a great wheel at a great price, but there are other wheels out there with an offset that is more 914stockfender friendly.

7 inch revolutions
or 7inch x16 fuchs are a safer bet

you might make it with a 7 cookie and a 205 tire.
but 99% chance you will need to do a little fender work
kinda depends upon what you mean by stock fender.
