Full Version: Correct clips for parking brake cable?

I took my 914 apart several months ago and forgot which clips were for the parking brake cables. I added to my confusion by scavenging a few extra clips.

I thought the clips labeled C were for the parking cables but they seem too feeble. B seem too wide, and I'm pretty certain A were for the flex/hard line union. I looked for pictures on other cars but couldn't see clear enough what the clips look like.

"C" is correct, just did new cables from 914Rubber and that is what they came with. They don't need to be strong since all it does is hold the cable end in place against the bracket. All the force is on the other side.

Yep, we included these with the cables as you might as well have all new metal. They aren't very stout, but they do well to lock the ends in position.
