Can I get a quick confirmation on this please – I believe you can install a mechanical oil gauge from the top of the engine, using a port near the distributor. Is that M10mm x 1.0 thread?

Other are better ways to do it?

Good luck finding the right threads. Mine came with an old rubber line that blew. I ended up running copper and crush fittings. I spent 60 dollars buying every fitting under the sun that was supposed to fit that oil pressure port. None actually fit. I found the one that fit best and made it work. Since it is copper line, it will never break again, and that lets me sleep at night. My troubles are on these forums somewhere, with pictures, and the different adapters I tried.
