I've been meaning to find some nice drives around the Valley. I'll have to do South Mountain, any other recommendations?

Hey, HAPPY 914 DAY everybody!!!!

My 1970 914-6 is ALMOST DONE! Yippee!!!

So......time for Margie to come OUT of the Engine bay and the Engine/Tranny to go in!
Can't wait to get in the 6 and CRUISE and see my other 914 Buddies!!!!

For decades I had a bucket list goal of being the last car to board a ferry. It finally happened a week ago and today, on 9/14 Day, it happened again…in my 914!

Just got home from a full day of work. Drove the 914 in with a 914 shirt on! I often drive it in on Friday’s people asked what’s up Paul….answer it’s 914 day!! …..Drive on

Jamie, thanks for your comment. The flairs are Carrera flairs. Wish I could say it was my idea, but they were on the car when I bought it 8 years ago. Two previous owners ago, built the car as a track car and he installed the Carrera flairs. I like them too.
The front fenders were just rolled out. The car is now a street car again.

We turned a 3 hour 45 minute drive into 7 hours of back roads on the way to Okteenerfest. It was a great 914 day drive!
