Does anyone know if a diagram of body dimensions exist for a 1973.5 911 like the one we have here for the 914?

http://www.914world.com/specs/bodydims.php

Thanks in advance.

The factory workshop manual has them... there are chassis repair threads on the Bird that include some for '73.

Maybe someone with a FWM can copy them for you?

Thanks Russ.

Good to know where to look.

I appreciate it.

'69 through '73 should be identical on all important locations.

Thanks!

I found the FWM online and the diagram of the body dimensions.

Is a 1973.5 considered a MY73 or MY74? I am assuming '73. Was the engine the only change - switched to CIS? Mid-year changes are tough to work on.

I have an "early" 1972 914 and run up against it at times.

We own a '67S and '68 Targa so I'm no expert, but IIRC the '73.5 was CIS and got rubber bumper tits... there may be other small running changes. When MY 1974 resumed after August it was with the G body and impact bumpers.

ROW 2.7 cars were MFI, we got CIS and thermal reactors. NFG on mag cases.

A 73.5 is still a 'long hood' not a G body which began in '74
the .5 refers to the change to CIS fuel injection
