Well, to day in Wisconsin its 70 deg. tomorrow it will be 30 deg. winter is coming. The last trip in my 914-6 GT Tribute is with my beautiful lab Harlow. She is eight and had some health issue but we had a great ride. I love this car...but I love this dog more. MarkClick to view attachment Click to view attachmentClick to view attachment

Nice car, nice dog!

While California has many political problems, it still has weather which allows 12 month 914 driving! The politicians and political parties here have not found a way to f##k that up yet.

Great story and pics. Thanks for sharing! Hope to get mine out (NJ) a few more times this season.

16F here this morning. But I am hoping for at least one more 914 driving day.

having a new concrete floor poured Tuesday, so for now 2 of my specimens are in the outdoors, late next week they will be inside. Nice new flat/level concrete, I figured I deserve an early Christmas gift to myself. I almost never leave any of my sporting machines outside, ever

Almost 50F here today. Drove the car a bit. Drive toward Lake Tahoe though? Already a few feet of snow.

Drove the 993 yesterday and the ride home was like a Guns-n-Roses song, a cold november rain. Maybe a couple more weeks of driving but soon the garage door will come down until Spring.
Oh, and no more Topless Tuesdays for Archie!

@Unobtanium-inc which 4 post lift is that? Speaking of early presents, I might get myself one. Do you like it? Would you buy it again?

This thread is all over the place, I love it!

Well, if it’s dogs riding in 914s we’re shooting for, here are a couple of different rides in my previous Laguna Blue ‘75. The one with my daughter and the dog was an interesting trip around the neighborhood!

I have two that are made by Challenger, a subsidiary of Snap-On I think. I got them through my local NAPA, so no shipping, picked them up there and they loaded them on my trailer. I've been very happy with them, they are consumer quality, meaning they go up pretty slow, but if you're not in a hurry it's not a big deal, it would be annoying if you were using them for a shop. I think I paid about $2000 each but they have probably gone up since then. I had to vault the ceiling to get them to fit.

I bought a few stackers and a two post lift… great customer service at Challenger!
