Buy the biggest cooler that fits within your cars constraints

I have a DB30417 mounted centered on my 911
and have used the DB30618 on some seriously high powered 911s

I have the double pass Fluidyne.I haven't had it on the track, but driving fairly aggeressive in 90+ degrees, it never got over 190.
I love it!

Pete,
I,m running a pair of the double pass fluidyne's.
We even had to block off 2/3rds on one side with a piece of plastic that fits infront of it.
but I would much rather have excess cooling rather than inadequate cooling. We fought oil temps for 6-8 years in our 4 cylinder car when we added the 2nd driver. I promise it is easier to block off with tape or what ever and then have the ability to increase later.
plus if you run a thermostat then it will be regulated for you. We don't run a thermostat right now since it is a race only application:

Hey Brant, what is the flow of your coolers? Are they in series?

Sean,
yep... in series.
everyone is clear that they are not as effecient in series as they would be/could be.
but it works well for plumbing purposes to go up one heater duct and then back to the stock tank on the other side of the car.
here is the missing hose that makes them in series:
