From September 19th through the 25th Eight 914s will be competing in the SCCA National Championships this year at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.


If you can't attend or participate, you can still provide your support.
Our goal is $1500 to pay for two 40x20 tents for 10 days and to put together a 914 Club Party at the track.
Now's the time to stand up and be counted!

Thanks Guys this is really going to be a great event. And we have some key space for the tents. I have contacted Excellence to inquire if they wanted to do a story and have gotten a response for information only, no commitments yet. This could be excellent advertising for the club. The $350 tent (20x20) is still for sale by the rental co.
We're renting two 20x40 tents, blue and white.
I'm also bringing end panels but probably nothing for the front and rear. I expect to back the trucks/trailers up to the rear of the tents.

The fund is at nearly $600. Hoping to accummulate close to $1500 so we have enough for the tents and a 914club barbeque on the weekend. Speaking of the party - does anyone not too far from the track have large charcoal or gas grilles to bring, or should we plan on renting?

I'll be starting a thread for volunteers and spectators within a week or so.

Brad's in 911 heaven. I doubt they'll let him come to Ohio.

Right now I am planning on coming up to help out with Kevin's car and anyone else who needs help. Just trying to figure out what days everyone will be there.

Guy Wanegar stopped by my shop today to join the Century Club. Yesterday I got Garold's check in the mail.
That puts us just shy of $700 so far, which is almost halfway to our goal.
We have about 3 1/2 weeks left to prepare for this event.
