Full Version: need torque spec for the bolt at the top of the shock strut in the frunk

What is the torque spec for this bolt? The Haynes manual is not clear to me.

I’m pretty sure its 57.4 foot pounds.

@914RZ-1 http://p914-6info.net/PDFs/Group%204%20Front%20Axle.pdf Torque spec is 57.9ft lbs. I torqued to 58ft lbs with vehicle on the ground. Most of the ft lbs specifications were converted from NM then hence the .7/.9 You will need something to hold the plate that sits on top of the rubber bushing to keep it from moving when tightening the nut. Also remember to torque the strut tube nut to Bilstein's spec 95+or- 7ft lbs. I purchased the Bilstein tool to tighten the strut tube nut to spec. Jeff Bowlsby has graciously uploaded a digital version of the factory shop manuals smile.gif I used it as the Haynes manual had me confused. http://p914-6info.net/Manuals.htm
