This 907 for auction caught my attention because the designs of 907 ~ 917 ~ evolved the 914. My avatar shows the resemblance.
I've no affiliation-- just posting to share the stories of this race car and see if anyone is interested to comment. I follow the auctions for statistical pleasure.
Thanks 914WORLD~

Thank you for posting.
I love all the "plastic" era race cars but especially the 906......the last one that could
be registered for road use.

The racing world was a much simpler place in the late 60s

Dymo labels on a modern race car would never do. What would the sponsors say? av-943.gif

Though period correct, you still have to laugh just a bit on a $4M sale.

check the windscreen.

certified for road use.
has the full certification stamp including british standard symbol.

interesting in context of a topic a few months back about original windscreens factory fitted to 914s.

@JeffBowlsby . this screen is a sudglas screen. as seen on one or two 914 examples.

I am no expert on 904/906/907. If I recall though, all had to be homologated for “road use” in order to compete. No?
