I've been buying bulk by the gallons for a while now. Much cheaper than individual quarts.

Just checked, the Mobile 1 i use is about $5 per quart if you buy in bulk.

@ 4 quarts to a gallon i would have to buy 2 of them. With the 2nd one 3/4 full. It’s a long story with an unhappy ending. One tank of fuel pretty much lasts a month until the low fuel light comes on. There’s still about 4 gals in the tank after the light. I don’t tempt fate. We put very few miles a year on the car. The timing belt, and All that goes with that, was replaced due to years of service. Not miles.

Obviously not the oil you need for your car, but you get the idea. 5 quarts per bottle.

This is the cheapest way to buy oil now
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mobil-1-FS-Europ...mp;gclsrc=aw.dsThat is a 12 quart bag! It's a PIA to use so if you're drawn in by the inexpensive price be aware it may be messier than you expected.
$5 a quart for that oil is 1/2 normal price...

You didn’t notice gas prices going through the roof? Everything that is made using oil is much more expensive now.

We buy a lot of oil for the shop. I’m not usually a Walmart shopper but it’s usually $10+ a gallon cheaper than everywhere else.

I buy Mobile-1 @ Costco. Viscosity varies from store to store. I usually don't haggle with the price as oil is the cheapest thing I put in my car.

I use Brad Penn, but just noticed this on Amazon. Has anyone tried it?

The Amazon Semis and delivery vans going to and fro at the newer distribution center 2 miles my house is really great. So is the traffic. If they would not insist on doing 60 on a posted 45 primary road and running red lights that would be even greater. If you’re smart, you pause a moment, look both ways and then proceed on your green light.
Retail mark up. It is what it is.
I still have a case and 1/2 of the old BradPenn for the T-4.

Every once in a while will need a quart to feed something while on the road. Always a sticker shock. Almost always buy cases at a time and try to toss a quart in each car.

I use various multi-viscosities of Mobil-1 for my H2o cooled vehicles, and used to buy the 5-qt jugs at Walmart for $25. I think they're up to $27. now. I do have a couple of qt bottles that I fill up for roadside top offs.
I typically use Brad Penn 20/50 in the air-cooled vehicles (including the Harleys)

NAPA has VR1 on sale for $6 a qt right now.
I am running the Castrol in my 6 conversion and it seems to be operating the same as the previous vr1 that was in it. Well also mixing well with it LOL (can never get it all out)
