The definitive answer, please, for the rear valance on my '72 1.7L stock exhaust. Hole or notch? Thanks.

I also have a 72. And I have managed to accumulate both the hole and the notch style valances. I can't remember which came off the car.
1972 had the hole, and 1973 had the notch.
