I removed the door handle, latch mechanism, rod, and finger-pull door opener.
Put the parts into the Ultrasonic and ready to reinstall:
Question is, how should I start off ? What part goes in first ?
I know getting the rod onto the latch assembly is gonna be hard; who’s recently done this and knows the trick ? smile.gif

Installation is normally the reverse of removal!

Did this recently.

Latch mechanism goes in first. then door handle.

Put the clip on the rod close to the end, lots of light helps. slide the clip rearward and put over pin with fingernail.

Attach rod to forward inside lever / latch last.

At least that's how i remember doing it.

Thank you, makes good sense smile.gif I noticed the door handle mechanism was hard to remove; any tips ?

All done! Big thanks to Bob Duffy who got the clip on the rod and getting the screw into the door handle
BTW: That screw needs a washer and lock washer for the screw to sit correctly.

Glad you got it sorted. Here’s some video for anyone else attempting…
