I am putting the front suspension back on a 73 914 that i did not take off and would like to get the ride height close to correct. Can someone tell me the approximate dimension from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender with the suspension hanging free? Thanks.

The one I use is 12" to center of the front wheel bearing cap.
