Last week I had a gt grill for sale @volkssled inquired about the part.
He gave me his zip code and I got a shipping quote he agreed on price.
Next day I go back to post office and they quoted me double the price for
Same package (wasn’t cheap) I argued with the lady but of course she won.
I went ahead and shipped it anyway. I pm volkssled ask him if he was willing to pay for the extra shipping and he sent me the $ .
He didn’t have to but he did. He’s a new member here and I want to thank him publicly
For my mistake. Thanks brother…..

That's nice to hear! I always get screwed with shipping. Various reasons but for me, its guesstimating the size of the box and weight. You get to UPS and its a whole different price.

That’s the thing, I took the package to the P.O
and she measured and weighed she even wrote the quote on the package so I wouldn’t forget. Went back next day and it was double .different employee.

Now i all I need is a decent mechanic,
a renn shifter , tangerine shift linkage and a
Sarasota or Saratoga top and I’ll be in heaven
( if anybody has any of these , let me know , I’m good for it $ )

Tip: Get the WAS top from 914rubber. It fits better, and uses the stock seals instead of NLA ones from who-knows-where.
