After spending a week cleaning and reinstalling the door latch mechanisms, one of the springs jumped off its post. Had to get back into the door and pull the latch and fortunately I had a spare spring. These springs have flat ends and look like they are specific for their use.

And: any suggestions where to replace the spring ?
