Looks factory & it's covered with body filler. It's also painted. I think it's a nut. I don't want to remove the filler. Anybody else have one of these? Thank you.

Is it one of these? Top is a 72 bottom is a 74. If so they are ground lugs

It's the blob in the middle. Not the threaded post. The brown stuff by the pad is old glue.

I'm pretty sure that's the boss for one of the mounting bolts for the /6 oil tank.

The 6 oil tank brings its own studs.

There are two of those recesses in all left rear inner fenders.
They capture nylon insulators that mount the 914 6 oil tank.
On 914 4cyl. chassis they are not drilled.
