@rjames
Can you PM me the whole error message please. If PM doesn't work for you, you can post it here.

So I tried to copy and paste the entire error message in a DM to you, but got the same database error.
Then I sent you a new message without the content from the error message (which includes the message I was trying to send) and that went through.

I don't want to paste the entire error message here since it includes the actual message I was trying to send which was just meant for 1 person. Clearly there's something in the message itself that it causing the problem. I'll try and DM the person without using the 'reply' feature.

The text below appears at the end of the entire message. Not sure where row 1 falls in the message I'm sending.

SQL error: Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\x86<b...' for column 'msg_post' at row 1
SQL error code:
Date: Monday 31st of July 2023 10:17:51 PM

Looks like this emoji was causing the error (I had to take a screen shot as actually putting the emoji in here also caused an error when trying to post this):

I just realized that the emoji came from my iPhone and not from the list of ones built-in to the software that the 914World runs on.

Problem solved, but something to note for others.

If you're having problems sending a DM, you should DM one of the admins.

My fav suport call:

"My printer says 'PC Load Letter'; what do I do...?"

GA: "I dunno, see if the Peace Corps needs volunteers?"
