What's the going price for a 6 cylinder engine core? I'm considering getting one for an art project and want to see if it's feasible. Would also consider an an engine that has been taken apart and in boxes. Don't need shrouding, carbs, distributor, etc. - a long block is fine.

Cases alone are in the $500 and up range. Junked core longblocks probably a grand or so but would be lucky to find anything under 2k
