Hello all!
I Just found an image of Magnus Walker´s Art Car on-line. And wonder how he was able to fit 205/50/15 tires on a narrow body 914…can it be done with no mods? Will it scratch?

Any suggestions on how the offset needs to be, and wheel dimensions.
I really think the Pirelli Pzero trofeo R, can make a 914 handle well.. you guys maybe already done here…

205’s fit easily on stock cars. I have 205’s on mine, with 15” Mahle rims. Getting hard to find really good tires for 15” rims, though.

Not necessarily. They won't fit on mine unless I pulled the fenders. It's been shown that there's some variation cars such that they would probably fit, but it's not guaranteed.

I have 205x60x15 on 6” cookies. Fit easily without any mods.
It’s when you try to use 7’s that the clearance runs out on a stock body.

Looking at the side wall on the OP photo, that is definitely wider than a 6” rim

I don’t think he made wide 4 lug wheels but I could be wrong. I’m also pretty sure they stopped production a couple years ago. Either way, all the above info holds true. There was a 6 1/2 minilite wheel that had been fitted to some 914’s but there are no guarantees when you push it to the limit. Different 914’s will fit wheels and tires differently. I did feel anytime I put the 2.0/4 lug Fuchs on a stock 914, they ended up fitting perfectly with any size tire up to 205.

I run 205s on 7 in rims, but I pulled out the fenders just a bit. I love the original narrow body look.

They did stop production do to Covid etc… Fifteen52 is the manufacturer. They had said they will resume production on them at some point.
They are forged, they are expensive. They are made in 4 and 5 lug configurations. 4 lug up to 7 in wide.

From memory of Porsche wheels:

5.5x15 = 42mm offset
6x15 = 36mm offset
7x15 = 23mm offset
7x15 (911R) = 49mm offset
7x15 (late offset phonedials) = 52.3mm offset

Folks have squeeze many of these into "stock" 914s.. the 7's give the most pause and may require some creativity (rolling fender lips, gentle pull etc, depending on tire size, ride height and camber)

6x15 is the simple plug and play

Minilite made a 6.5x15 that also fit.

A 205 will fit any 5.5-7 inch wide rim, Tire/sidewall buldge being the only difference as its sorta "pinched" on the narrow wheel and "flat" on the wider wheel.

205x55x15

A challenging size to find these days. Used to work well with a 225x50 on a 911 to give similar diameters front and rear.

stock diameter is 25", so 205/55-16 is exactly 25", 205/55 15'' is smaller and will throw off your odometer , but maybe you want higher rpms thats what you'll get with smaller 24" diameter tire/wheel combo.

I ran the 205x50x15s a lot longer than the 55s. I drove canyons and shorter tires was a cheap way to get lower gearing. The 55s were a compromise, I got married and the trips got longer.

They fit , 205/50/15
They rub inner front rear
Every car is different, especially the rear, side to side

The old 15 inch 7’s by revolution wheels have a good offset if you like the wheel design. A lot of folks used to run this wheel on the track for the wider rim and reported they fit with out fender work

The old 14 inch Fuchs has almost the same offset as a 7R wheel
I know rusty used to run 215 tires on his -6 with those
But 14 inch tires are impossible to find these days
