I am in the process of reassembling the TB on my 74 2.0. Any tricks with the new 914Rubber TB gasket? Do you use any sealant? Getting the old stuff off was a b*tch!

I'm a fan of using a VERY thin layer of grease on each face of the TB and runner gaskets. Seems to help reduce them sticking/tearing if removal is needed. My flavor of choice is synthetic Red Line CV-2 Moly grease.

Thin layer of grease will work. This seal is also reusable.
