I acquired the engine kit to install in my VW SP2 but never did and I sold that car last year. I am now clearing out my garage and I found this unused engine kit that I was intending to install in the SP2 it is suitable for any 1.7 liter type 4 engine, it's a rare bit of kit part #K0701250 and retails at about £450 but I'm offering it for £100 + shipping. Always thought the SP2 was a type I motor based ,but a flat pancake motor like the type 3 , think they used Brazilian twin solex carbs .
If I 'am correct this kit won't fit a T4 ,hope that helps ,cheers.
