Not sure if this commercial (or the car) is available in the US
It's the new commercial for the VW Fox... and there's a flash of the 914 in it!
right click and save as... (.mov format)approx. 3Mb

Brant, I believe you are right, however Eu did hve little"nipples". This 914 doesn't have them, just black fog light grills giving the optical illusion of tits.

Or for that matter #41 the 72-74 Ghia Convert would be nice also - I prefer the Coupe thou #40 still a 73 or 74 big bumpers Funky front lights- I still miss that car.

A current Comcast Broadband commercial features (for just a second) a 914 Group 5 racer, zooming down the screen, in a video being played on a computer.

Not a single 914 had the badge as standard, if it has one the dealer put it on or some PO but thats AFAIK
Some cool cars
like #3: 2003 Ultima Edicion VW Beetle hmmm nice
or off course #14 the 73 914 2.0 (hmm number fourteen, coincedence...)
or #20 which I think is a MK1 Golf GTI
and just because you hardly ever see one of these # 52 which is a seventies VW K70
Cool you found and shared this ad Jeroen!

Jacco i know the hood crest was never a factory item on a 914, what i was saying is the in europe the 914 was a VW, but in that commercial it is a porsche due to its hood crest. how many people would put a porsche hood crest on a euro VW 914. i personally would love to get ahold of a true marked VW 914.

The 914 also has the clear (Italian IIRC) turn signal lenses.
That is a cool commercial. I dig it!

good luck as there weren't any ...
they were marketed as "VW-Porsche", in fact, VW and Porsche founded a seperate company, the "VW-Porsche Vertriebsgesellschaft" just for that ...
