Redoing all of my cableing in the 2.0. Throttle, heater, clutch. As I'm installing a new thermostat I was wondering if it is possible to sneak new bearings "under" the tins without full removal.

Yes.

IIRC you'll need to loosen a few fasteners on the tin, but it's been done before.

Or you could always pull the engine and tranny smile.gif .
