I had planned to upgrade HOWARD with a late front suspension set-up, but that's no longer on my to-do list.

So ... I have a nice powder-coated cross member, late strut housings with the correct lower bolts, a set of late control arms with torsion bars and all new bushings, and a set of painted late front brake backing plates - all ready to install on any year 914.

Factoid: will need late front calipers if installing on an earlier car.

Asking $500. for all of it, local pick-up, So Cal LAX South Bay

(I'll post the pix of the powder-coated struts shortly)

If you don't like my prices, you know what you can do? ...

... you can always make me a reasonable offer laugh.gif

Yes, it is...

Hate that the decent deals are always in California and too large/heavy to ship. headbang.gif headbang.gif

You forgot to add "These already have the sway bar mounts!"

This is the easy button for 50 more years of service.

What brand are the bushings?

I'll be really pissed if they're Elephant... beerchug.gif

Joe @Stratfink

Bruce sent me a PM to point out that the rear adjusters need to be swapped out, the left side adjuster is on the right arm, and vice-versa.

That's how they were when I got them from Dan (proto31) a couple years ago. I just put them in storage when I got them home and just dug them out recently - never noticed they were on 'backwards'. Easy fix.

Here's the powder-coated strut housings, along with the lower bolts and a pait of torsion bar adjusters that come with the 'kit'
