Because they found the secret stash of 10mm wrenches huddled for warmth in the engine compartment!

Where'd ya dig up the old guy in the middle?! laugh.gif Good to see Nate pokin' around a 914. poke.gif beer.gif

Looks like the 3 Stooges to me. smile.gif

Colder than I thought it was going to be (I'm on the left).

Fuel pump isn't doing anything. Started testing back at the relay board. Gave up when it came time to lay on the ground.

Nice to see some of the 914 gang though!

My neighbor's dog's groomer's grandfather's bus-driver's imaginary penpal had one of these Fiat X1/9s back when I was a kid.

They came to help me out by land, sea and air.

@Greenie combined a meeting in Snohomish with a drive/ferry to PT for a visit and some wrench time on the 914. @aircooledtechguy hopped a ferry from Coupeville and @Root_Werks flew his little plane over from Roche Harbor. The weather didn't cooperate for getting much done on the car(s), but we had a good time catching up. Made me want to put together a little more extensive gathering out here in the boonies….after the snow melts.

Runway was clear, not much else was.

It's been far too long! It would be great to rally out to the peninsula once the weather warms back up a bit. driving.gif I've also been thinking of having a gathering once I button up some renovations I've been working on in the house.

Ha! THAT is the engine to your high powered 'Porsche'? Where's the rest of it?

Radical. How could you ever get rid of such a gem? shades.gif

The cover story was that we were looking into why the fuel pump wasn't working. . . In reality, phrases like "parts-car" and "abandoned" were tossed about loosely!! lol-2.gif

Thanks again for the invite my friend. It was really good to reconnect with you all like that!! Count me in on the next one. . .
