Anyone have a source for the flex heater hose? Any upgrades to the OEM stuff?

Cheers

If you're looking for the hose from the heat exchangers to the firewall tubes, there's a great part at your local NAPA store. It's called preheater tube and it's black/gray cardboard on the outside and foil on the inside. Very nice stuff. I'll get a part number if I remember, I have some out in the garage.

Yep I used that stuff also. Works good, don't have the part number handy though...either search for it here or on Pelican. You only need one tube of the stuff and then stretch it out (tough). I've had no problems with off-gassing from the heat.

The stuff I use is 7$ a foot (same stuff we use for brake ducting on the race cars).. its Orange.

btw. that reminds me, i need the heater (paper?) hose that goes from the outlet behind the speakers to the vent-box.
can't use the stock length because i have to re-route (rollcage is in the way).

anyone know of a place where i can buy that stuff by the foot?

AA sells it, but not by the foot.....by the arm, leg and the foot happy11.gif

Andy,

I've used flex tubing sold at the FLAPS, it's designed for heater ducts

~$12.00 for 20'

good price, does the tube collaps like the paper tube does?
i need to "flatten it in a few spots to get around the roll cage ...
