@gulf908
You’re not far from Bruce Stone in Riverside. He may have some of the parts you need; plus, he can ship from his shop.

I will also be at the Lit show event and swap meet on Sunday. Also hoping to attend a couple of the events after the lit show.
Pelican and Goritz

Just heard yesterday that the 356 Club Swapmeet in Chino has been cancelled due to the rain and more expected rain early next week.

Boys Republic Chino Hills. It is put on by the SoCal 356 club. It appears it has been cancelled this year.

At least we still have the lit show and all the open houses on Saturday. I plan on hitting the lit show, then Pelican, then Goritz.

Thu: I didn't make it down in time to visit SMC. I heard it was well attended early.

Fri: For sure will be going to Wilhoits. I also have a 356, so it's very relevant for that. Also just a great shop if you like Porsche in general.

Sat: Not sure if we will make it to the lit show. Probably make a pass through. We are planning to go to Pelican.

Are you folks driving your 914s?

I'll be there.
I'm hitting one of the shop tours Sat afternoon.
And am bummed that the swap meet on Sunday was cancelled.
Really rained that much?
Guess I'll head out to the beach for the day.
What else is there to do close to the airport for most of the day????

With the cancellation of the Swap Meet, we have decided not to go. The Lit Show is not enough of a draw to make the trip for us. Bummer! beerchug.gif

I saw that an (unofficial) pop-up swap meet was announced for Friday in Torrance.

I'm guessing they may have been told by the property they needed to cancel. But that is a guess. The swap meet ends up being my favorite part if the weather is good. This happened last year and I think the rains have been worse this year.

A very nice signal orange 914-6 parked at The Parts Shop in Huntington Beach on Friday. Both owned by Bill Perrone.
