This is our fifth Toyota over the course of about 30 years. What model is this?

Corolla Cross Hybrid.

Right on. Fully loaded for about 35 K$. It's easy to park with tons of ground clearance. JBL audio, Goodyear tires, seat heaters, & sun roof. Thanks for checking in as they say.

Your wife looks happier than you!

Only one thing I don't like about that...

It's BLACK!

We tested identical Tahoes last summer, a white one and a black one.

On a 110-degree day, in the burning Texas sun, the black one was 55 degrees HOTTER internally.
It was the difference between "hot" and an oven...

This is not an issue if it's under cover, just harder to keep clean.

Years ago, I had a Suburban that was blowing up evaporator cores for no apparent reason. It was black and the owner decided to try and save money by not parking it in an enclosed garage in downtown Ft. Worth. The static pressure in the AC system would reach nearly 200 psi in the heat of the day and the evaporators were rated for 175...
Pop goes the weasel!
Got to do one for free before I figured out what was going on.

Good luck with the new car!

I recommend Toyota first always!

Thanks. I'm not a fan of black cars either. This was the only TCC for sale within a 200 mile radius. My wife loved it at first site. What can you do?

I drove a "99 Suburban for 13 years. Meadow green metallic. It was a quality car, but at 160K miles all the drive train seals were leaking (4 WD). All the loudspeakers were shot too. It was the perfect rig for windsurfing in that I could lock all the gear in the back. I could also sleep in the back, along with the beer/food cooler, on extended sessions. 44 gallon tank, 13 mpg highway, & a governor that prevented it from going over 100 mph. My 1.7 tops out at about 105 mph.

My daily is a 2017 Ram Pro Master with all windows. (think small UPS van).

Build quality is HORRIBLE, I'm working on it a lot (sub 40K).

You can stand up in it.

We have a high-end flushing toilet in it.

You can DRIVE a 2 person off road go cart into it.

A queen air mattress fits perfectly across the rear wheel arches.

You can move a 1-bedroom apartment in a single trip.

Gets 16-17 if you pussy foot it.

Gets 14 mpg at 75 mph pulling an aluminum trailer with a MSM Miata on it.

Hammer the above combo at 75 and you can actually feel it accelerate!

Whoever chose the transmission gear combos was a wizard.

I've seen triple digits in it!

It might be faster than your 914...

Drawbacks are piss poor quality and it will not fit through a drive through...

It's dark grey and it was also "only one for hundreds of miles" when we bought it.

Wish it was white...

Just remembered.

It was 36k in 2017!
