Only watched the latest installment a few hours ago , can't however understand all the drama really as they talk about its poor condition ? ,looks like a real original solid car ,think it would be a walk in the park compared to some of their other customer cars .
Some real talent in that shop ,the repair panels they make are amazing , will be interested to see the hell hole repair in upcoming episode's ,been watching this channel for a while and find it better than many IMO.
Cheers.

Lots and lots (and lots) of body filler.

They seem like nice blokes, but why in the world would you sit there and grind body filler inside your shop into a giant dust storm. Look at the background, there's a layer of snow over the entire shop. Can you imagine a heavy layer of dust on everything in the shop?

Not to mention the health effects (yeah he's wearing a mask, but eyes and face, and lungs are still exposed.

This seems like the worst way to do this.

Because getting views and likes on YouTube is all about the drama. A YouTuber friend of mine says he gets 7x more interactions or whatever the metric is when he has a big fuch up compared to doing what he intended. It’s a form of reality tv and as a producer of content, you’re trying to monetize the videos as best you can.

agree.gif they named the car "patches'' from the get go so they already knew it was bad...fooled me as it was a nice paint job and certainly looked straight .
Still entertaining as intended .

That 914 will probably be several hundred pounds lighter once they get done grinding off all that filler. Why in the world would someone put so much filler on a car and then spend hours smoothing it out?

I did this during an episode of frustrated stupidity. I did have a vacuum hooked up to a dust shield on my grinder, but plenty got out an covered my garage space. Not my best moment. headbang.gif
