Just had a 2.0 delivered to my shop.

Complete pull out, all tin (which looks perfect), all accessories (including a York compressor).

Heat exchangers and all of the heater bits to make it work.

Trashed set of 44 IDFs. Carbs could be rebuilt but both will need throttle shafts.

Original flywheel in decent shape.

Intakes left open during outside storage.

Locked up solid.

$200!

I could sell the tin for that much.

I needed the HE heater bits anyways and expected to spend $200 here for them.

I'm glad I waited now...

It pays to be patient gathering engine parts. smilie_pokal.gif

Given you are in AC business you can gold plate the York, put it on your counter and reminisce about the good old days.

Maybe use it as a boat anchor?

Nice deal!

agree.gif Great deal for somebody! I'd buy it if I didn't already have this exact setup [including the "boat anchor" York] sitting under a tarp in my back yard.

Believe it or not but the Yorks have a PLACE!

They make a kick ass on board air compressor for a service truck.
Fit a decent sized tank and the proper control circuits and you can run impacts and small pneumatic junk off of it!

You can air up tires!

With a big enough tank, you could do limited AC flushing.

The one on this engine is probably trashed but the one on my 75 is most likely still good.

How do you lube the York as an air compressor ?
The one I did for that job didn't last

@barefoot

Mineral oil dripped or sprayed into the intake (suction side) occasionally. Much like an air tool.
Yorks have a HUGE sump. 24 oz of mineral oil in sump at installation and you make a dip stick out of a piece of welding rod and check that occasionally as well.
