Depending on the loading. It may be a good application for PTFE????

Thanks. These are a specific thickness. they seem to be a shim. They keep the shift shaft in the console from traveling too far so it stays ligned up with the rods. I was testing without these in and it got all fubar in the trans. Finally got the console out and had to use a screwdriver to move the rods back in place. Maybe I can find some brass at a hobby store and make some

At $13 a set, I think 914rubber has it covered. They are often overlooked. No idea what one would do with blocks of Teflon.
