Full Version: Width of 914 with GT flares??

I've already had a slight "encounter" with the tire rack on my trailer with a stock bodied car wacko.gif (see pic)

Are the standard GT flared cars even wider in the rear???

according to the Sheridan motorsports Website, the front of their standard 914 kit is 70 3/4" and the rear is 72"

The wide kit is 76" in the front and 77" in the back. beerchug.gif

I think mine came out about 2 inches on each side in the front than the stock fenders? Don't think you'll make it. Looks like a really good excuse for a new trailer!!??

It was scary tight with a regular car on your trailer - I can't imagine that a flared car would work.

At best you would have to line the car up *exactly* in the right position

I take it the front is a little narrower??

time to cut off the tire rack or make it come out further on the sides......
