I attended the Ashes to sea ceremony this morning in Coronado honoring special unit Navy veterans, SEAL team and UDT members who recently passed. Sean was a Navy veteran of 9 years in Special Boat unit 13.
He was a good friend and good person. His screen name here was Sean V8 914.
The ceremony had a reading of the names of fallen veterans and bell ringing by family members and friends followed by a swim out to scatter ashes in the ocean.

Sorry for the picture orientation.

I knew Sean only briefly, by acquaintance through Eric Takach, and didn't realize he passed. In the short time I knew him, he made an impression - wishing his friends and family peace and love.

Thanks for sharing Bruce, hope you're well.

Thank you I am well. I met you thru Sean.
He passed a year ago last December in his sleep. Cause unknown.
