Easy one I hope.
This is for a 6 although exists on -4 as well.
Should it be yellow zinc…….also have seen painted black? I have soaked these and paint came off.
Thanks

Anyone know the answer.

Neither of my 73’ /4 were black though I have seen black parts. I can’t recall if it was yelllow chromate or not. Seems to have a yellowish area toward center.

If you’re going for concours perfection you’ll have to do more digging to see what they did at Porsche. Click to view attachment

Glad you posted picture ….i thought this was front A arm mount.
Doing a 6 …won’t be perfect but trying to replicate original as much as possible.
Thanks

headbang.gif Ugh - morning caffeine hasn’t kicked in.

The parts you’ve posted aren’t the steering column bearing clamp that I posted. Note the rounded closed in ends on the part I mistakenly posted.

Hmm. Now I am baffled. Are those U-clamps perhaps for 911 front anti-roll bar? [edit] nope - looking those up in PET, they are different than parts originally posted.

Losing my mind . . .

Edit: more looking through PET shows late model 911 rear anti-roll bar u-shape clamps similar (but not exactly the same) as was originally posted.

Sure looks like 911 front aluminum cross member bar clamps.

They look like rear sway bar bushing clamps.
I just pulled a pair and can compare to your picture.
Yellow zinc is the finish.
