Okay, driving for 2+ hours on Sunday. Last night, wanted to take a cruise. Key in the ignition and nothing...no clicks, no dash lights, nothing......dome light was on though.

I turned the key kind of 'hard' to try and see if I could engage the starter, and it started the engine. The engine then proceeded to run terribly.

I am thinking something goofy is going on with the FI or a relay or something....

Tonight I get home to start troubleshooting and the car fired right up and sat at idle like it was nobody's business!!!


What the heck happened???

Check your ground strap and battery connections.

It sounds like you might also have a hot start problem, very common when the starter and associated wiring (including the ignition switch) wear out.
