Does anyone have an old electric oven they are getting rid of? I have all the stuff to do some powder coating, rocking nana.gif little stuff just no oven. None of the toaster ovens look big enough to do much. So I have my eye out for a used cheap too free regular oven. Let me know if you get a line on one thanks.

larry would you be interested in a powder coating oven, that measures about 40 inches by 8 ( can be 12 for about another 30 ) and 16 wide for about 120 bucks, if so pm me i will send you something

Dad reminded me that they have a kiln in the garage that is an extra one from when my sister used to make custom ceramic dolls. Im going to go over and see what all will fit. It has the temp read outs and timers with ramp up controlls. I just forgot it sits there not being used for anything but taking up space. wink.gif

I don't know where you can get an oven super cheap, but there are some places off 30 in south dallas that I bought a used washer and dryer cheap, they had old ranges too... their prices were good on the washer/dryer I bought...

I'd be will to pitch in for oven and materials, as a partial exchange for some coating though... I'm sure a few other guys would too... I'd rather pay another 914 guy anyway.

No need to pich in. Ill see if this will work and you can come over and try it out some time once I figure it out.

I'll pitch in for something, if not the oven, then a big bag of the powder media, beer, something... beer.gif

if nothing else, the media will help you practice!! beerchug.gif

too bad I didn't know yesterday, I threw out a few pieces of engine tin and misc stuff I didn't need, would have been good practice...
