I applod all of you for helping in a time of need.
Just an FYI, the Red Cross is a VERY top heavy organization... the odds of you going to Vegas and stricking it rich are more in your favor than the money actually going to people who need it once the Red Cross gets the check. You have to wonder when the president of the Red Cross quit last year for moral reasons...
The Salvation Army is a way better bet that the $$$ will reach its destination.
Cheers, Don.

I have got to save that picture so that when my wife starts telling me the garage is trashed. I can calmly pull this out and say, "at least you aren't married to this guy?!?!?"

Don't have PP but would like to contribute $10 as a part in the 914 club donations to whoever needs it.
PM me a mailing address so I can put it in the mail Wednesday when I get that weekly allowance from my wife.
Thought about entering the following photo in the 914 group
http://members.rennlist.com/mikecool/1st70own.jpgMy 1st 914 back in 1970 sitting there on the Gulf Coast that this thread is seeking donations for. I have no clue as how to size it in this post because it is a larger jpg scanned photo.

Thanks Rusty.
Was sort of foggy looking wasn't it? What did you use to make photo so clear. It was a Kodak instamatic camera picture from that era. Negatives were about 1/2" square. Photo I scanned is about 2" X 2". I think my then new 1970 1.7 914 in the photo had between 900 to 1100 miles on it. Red still looks the same (at least she does to me). LOL
I entered only to help a little more to the donation drive but I sure do appreciate the smile you just put on my face by saying what you did.
Thanks.
Mike and Red salutes to you for taking care of business.
to all others too

I'm glad you liked it. I didn't do much, really. Just a crude application of MS Photo Editor. There are far more superior programs out there.
I'll be happy to do others if you'd like... no trouble at all.
