Sorry that this doesn't apply to air cooled powerplants but...

This car must have modern climate control so I'll use the donor Audi components. biggrin.gif The controller will be a simple fit but the heater "suitcase" and ducting will be another story. I may even make the heated seat switches functional. Just more fitting of 10lbs in a 5 lb bag. I think I'm up to 20 lbs now... laugh.gif

Why not get a console, and mount it there? Would save you from cutting up the dash.

The controller will fit easily, the components will need a big shoehorn...

Almost EVERY panel on this car will be cut, reshaped, or modified somehow...wink.gif

Well two months later the seller finally sent me these pics. Hopefully he is close to shipping it. At least the harness will come with it...
