What would cause the odometer to move faster than the distance you are travelling?

I ran 205x50’s for a long time. They will make the odometer and speedometer read farther and faster than what is really happening.
How much is it off?
Running different size tires than original specs will throw off the speedometer and odometer slightly.

Running 185/65/15 so I don’t think that’s the issue
How much are we talking when you say 'faster'? Have you checked over a known distance of 10-20 miles?
Stock 'upgrade' was 185/70-15, so your tires are a little bit smaller in diameter. That means you don't actually go as far for a given number of revolutions, but since the odometer is geared based on revolutions of the cable, it will read 'high'.

Yea I think this odometer blew up! What drives the odometer as the speedo works like it should. Anybody knows solution/ fix for this?
