can someone give me the cliff note version on converting to bmw brakes please.

is it easy? (1-10)
how much?
what parts do i need?

i am looking for cheap and easy, so if it is easier to replace what i have, please let me know

On late front ends....mid 72 and up the mounting ears on the caliper need to be machined. Pelican has a tech article if i recall.

Then ya bolt them on, bleed and go....most recommend losing the Proportioning valve in the engine bay and replace with a VW squareback tee/splitter for the rear brakes.

Once machined and ready to mount...same as a brake job. Gud idea to flush that nasty 1970s brake fluid out as well....
