but every other day it's bhappened.. .

It has been fine for me since the admins cooled off and put the site back up.

I get the timeout far more than I get any other message. Either there's one pretty expensive query in the mix, or the MySQL server is simply overwhelmed with requests when many people try to load the pages at the same time.

Are searches bringing the board down?

Seems like that would be the most disk/processor intensive function.

One problem with the everything-in-one-forum deal is that searches take forever.

the line 100 error has been happening for some time on my end. more often than not i have to go elsewhere and come back. i thought it was a dialup issue.
