Here is another tip from my engine builder: When running dual valve springs, use some big fat rocker arm shaft studs or the little baby stock ones will pull out of the head. Stock on the left vs big fat on the right. |

But.... that thread will hold a tremendous amount of tension.... I have used them with triple springs with 500 pounds over the nose and revved to 8K with no sweat.. I use these studs on EVERY engine I build, even those that have single springs.. The weakness in the stockers is those shitty 7mm nuts!
