Damn that thing looks scary!! Sure hope it spares New Orleans; more than a few inches and they're back where they were a few weeks ago! I sure hope all our Texas teener "cousins" in the Houston/Galveston area have evacuated by now! My prayers are with all you guys and gals!

Those feeder bands are going to give NOLA some rain. i hope it's not enough to collapse the levee repairs, but, it doesn't look good. No matter where this thing hits they have typically drifted east after making land fall. the bad news is they are predicting it will "stall" after landfall which will cause extreme flooding.

I'm guessing it will hit Port Arthur or just east in Cameron, LA area. East of the eye is gonna see the worst flooding and wind.
