About door handle level in the door jamb there is a hole but I am wondering its purpose. Thoughts from knowledgeable and uninformed both welcome!!

Any differrnce between real Fuchs and the imitation ones for sale at AA?

Could you post a pic of the alleged hole? Is it a rust hole?

Should have a plastic grill over it as its a fresh air vent. There is a tube that goes into the cabin if this is the right hole you are asking about.

Cast not forged and the cap and cap (center) hole are different.

I can get you the repro's and save you a bit of coin...also Mike's914 has a set of real fuchs for sale. One rim is mine so I get a 1/4 of the sale price. Plus he might give a bit of a package deal on the rims, caps and the longer bolts that are needed.

Mike also has some mahle's, etc.
