Anyone knowwhere I can get a rear trunk lid hinge pivot bolt with a longer threaded portion??? The nut on the hinge bracket is stripped so the pivot bolt won't thread into the bracket. I'm trying not to have to replace the bracket, so I thought if I got a new pivot bolt with a longer threaded portion, I could get a nut behind the stripped one for the new bolt to thread into. All suggestions appreciated.

JWest has a good unit, but you have to cut and weld.

I just purchased J west's kit.

No welding required, bolt in.... took me about an hour and a half to install.

You can also weld the base in to make it stronger...but yes you can just bolt it in.

James...some parts of your site are not working. Click on the pivot hinge and you get an error.

Big weekend (a couple house closings, etc.) things will be back up around Tuesday.
