What is the magnesium grade that is used on the '69 S case (2.0L 6cyl)? I need to weld a crack (guess where...) and need to make sure I buy the correct filler material.

Mike, I don't know the answer to your question but I do have quite a bit of magnesium filler wire. I have used it to repair transmission cases before so it is probably compatible with your engine case as well.
