but I'm very very excited to be participating in a race this weekend. Its my last one this year. Hopefully I'm still this happy after the event is over...

its an enduro.
1.5 hour race.
(I've only done sprint races before so thats part of the thrill)

I'm told that because of the enduro, all of the production cars are in one giant run group. Should be 2 or 3 times the normal traffic I'm used to. Lots of passing....

Glad you got your machine fixed from last weekend.

Endurance racing is my favourite. Used to compete in 2+ hour kart races. Keys are consistancy, minimise pit time, quick pit work be it re-fueling, driver change. Definitly do some practice driver changes, its real easy to get hung up in the belts in the heat of the moment.

You know this one, keep an eye on your mirrors.
Stay hydrated no not that kind of hydration!
Don't get into a toe to toe race with anyone, that only slows both of you down.
Find a rythym about 2-3 tenths off your ultimate pace, saves you & the car.

Have a blast & bring home the bacon.
