539s are earlier 356, 616s started with B cars, I think. Cs, for sure. The Cap'n

Maybe his misspelling in the ad is a freudian slip?
"THESE ROTORS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO APPARENT CRACKS, OR BRAKES IN THEM."

i emailed the guy and asked if a few pads were thrown in due to his swiss cheese rotors and he replied
"NO PADS,JUST ROTORS"
i thought it was funny...

I'd be inclined to bid on the brakes for the hubs alone. Just don't ship the Swiss-cheese please. Definitely rotors and not brakes. I think they may break before they brake.

Yes and No.
If they were actually used, the temperatures would likely be higher than normal, and the cooling stresses would be 'interesting'.
However, I'd guess it was not used as the primary stopping method; more likely trees, walls, other vehicles. Then it would hardly get used at all, so no chance to heat up.

Swiss cheese doesn't even have that many holes. Somebody must have been and then thought playing with the drill press would be fun in order to create those rotors

If they were four cam parts they wouldn't have "feet" for pushrods.

Nor would there be any rocker arms as we know them. They have pads that sit on a ball and pivot under the cam, sorta like a lot of Mercedes engines. The Cap'n
